Last monday I had a trip and when I turn on my Rotax 912 the battery it was discharged. Put another one in parallel and turn on the engine, but all the parameters like CHT, fuel pressure, EGT it's oscillating a lot. The pointer of Oil Pressure it's so oscillating that cause alarm of "High Pressure" all the time. Today I put a new battery and... nothing! What's happening, somebody can help me? :-[

I have the D100 and D120 working together and for 6 months the devices has no problems. What do you think about fluctuates: is problem of ground or problem of equipment? On next Thursday I will be traveling to Sun'n Fun. What do you sugest: I bring the D120 with me for meeting or I try to solve problem before? I don't have many time. Help me, please! My email: rctrappo@gmail.com

Do the parameters oscillate when the engine is off? If your battery was dead and the problem started afterward, I'd guess that a diode is dead in the alternator and your electrical system is very noisy. You should also be able to check this by turning the alternator off with the engine running.

Unfortunately, we can't help you with a unit at Sun 'n Fun. We don't have any test equipment or repair equipment there, so please don't bring the unit to the show.

If it's only when the engine is running, then it's probably the alternator, battery, or the connection between them (power or ground connection)
