OV Protection OF DYNON Panel Instruments

  Hello Dynon
     A B&C alternator (L40) and a LR3C-14 regulator with the aircraft battery is suppling the voltage. Can your products be compromized by these or by an unforseen OV episode. The aircraft will normally be flown DayVFR or nightVFR.

All Dynon instruments have a 10-30 normal voltage rating, and they are quite happy at 30V. If you're worried about a higher voltage, we've designed for 60V short term tolerance, just like certified equipment requires. Some of our stuff will just operate at 60V all day. As far as we know, we've never seen a unit damaged by the electrical system in a plane.
