I think you've reminded me of a bug in the latest version of the support program that I didn't remember that we had. In short, I don't think it will be possible to transport your setting with the version of the support program that you have. There are two things you can try:
1) We've semi-publicly released a "release candidate" of a version 5.6 that fixes a different issue: see
this thread for the download link to that. You can try using that support program, without first updating your system, to both create a settings export and import it into the new unit.
2) If that doesn't work, you can try using the support program to actually upgrade both of the D100s, and then repeat the above.
I'll have our support team try the above here too, so if you're OK to hold out, we can let you know whether either of these options will work before updating your systems.
