Persistant tank switching message across flights

I have my fuel tank switching reminder set to alert me based on the amount of fuel used. In my case, it warns me at each 5 gallons used. I would like to suggest the ability to keep track of the fuel used for the memo across Skyview shutdowns if no fuel is added. As an example: I take off and after 5 gallons are used the Switch Fuel Tank message alerts. I switch tanks and cancel the message. On this short flight I land after using 2 additional gallons. After my visit I restart the aircraft to fly on to another destination without refueling since I have used so little. I would like the Dynon to alert when I have used a further 3 gallons. In this way, the tank usage would remain balanced throughout the second flight which might be a good deal longer. Can this be added to the future enhancements wish list?

Do you fly a ultralight? 5 gallons is so minimal that the constant changing can result in an potential issue, however the good news is that 5 gallons is 30Lbs, so anything less than that certainly would not cause an imbalance issue.
I know what you are asking, but for your situation and such low number I dont see a big benefit to this. A suggestion is turn the knob to the other side when you shut down and that will keep it pretty close when you start up again on your next flight, not great but again with such a small difference between tanks I would work pretty well.

The numbers I used were just as an example. It would be helpful to have the tank switching reminder not be reset unless fuel were added the same way the system tracks fuel remaining across multiple flights.
