Pins 36 and 37 For K type Thermocouple

I need to wire up a K Type thermocouple on pins 36 and 37.

My thermocouple has a red and black wire so I assume that the...

-Red wire should go to pin 37 (what Dynon specifies as a General Purpose TC Input 2-) and the
-Black wire should go to pin 36 (what Dynon specifies as a General Purpose TC Input 2+ )?

Can someone PLEASE confirm???

The ANSI standard color code for a type K thermocouple is RED and YELLOW, whereas YELLOW is +, and RED is -. Your guess is as good as any. You can connect it to a milivolt meter and place the probe between your fingers and verify the voltage rises as it heats up. The lead that is connected to the + of the meter goes to pin 36.
