I am building a light sport experimental.
I will be installing a Dynon Skyview in the pilots panel. In the Copilots panel, I will install an Ipad and use Foreflight.
Is their a way to get indicated airspeed and baro altitude to the Ipad from Skyview via WiFi? I want to keep it light and dont need redundancies per say.
Using Foreflight Ipad without pitot/static info from another source will only read GPS for airspeed and GPS for altitude, not exactly ideal. I would like indicated airspeed on the Ipad and baro altitude.
I would like to keep it simple and not have to purchase an additional ahrs with pitot static for the Ipad.
What is the best/inexpensive simplist way to get pitot/static info to the Ipad? Can this info be obtained wirelessly via the skyview?
Thanks,
Jim
