Power off reset

This morning I switched off the master and before getting out noticed one display was still on, powering down in 17, 16 15, 14...blink 30, 29, 28, 27...blink 30, 29, 28. That hasn't happened in a 18 months of flying. I pushed the power off button and the display shut down. Switched the master on again, powered up the displays then turned the master off and got the same thing. Each display began counting down and then resetting, not at the same time. The altitude may have jumped from 780 (field elevation) but not enough time to read a different number. Airspeed may have jumped from -- to something but I could not see a number. Any ideas?

If you have airspeed it won't shut down, and if airspeed goes from 0 to any number and back to 0 it resets the counter.

So you need to go look and see why you suddenly have airspeed when there isn't any. If your altitude is also jumping then my first guess is water in your static lines.
