Power on when power applied

Is there a possibility to make an option in future firmware that the D3 will not automatically turns on when power is applied? I prefer to keep it off for most off the time (only use it in marginal weather)

Dynon can answer that, however why not have a simple switch in its power input in the meantime ? You probably thought of that already

I thought about it but then the unit will not charge. Second reason why I like to have the option not to wake up at power on is that my USB charger (Charge2) is not "booting" when the D3 is connected at start up. Would be nice to have the option to decide if its starts up or not at power on without disconnecting plugs etc

Not sure why having the switch would be a problem then once the unit is charged, just make sure it is fully charged & then, when you do want to turn it on, just flip the switch. It already is charged anyway & turning it on allows the system to keep it charged.
