Hello Dynon - Team,

I have a small problem with the HS 34 in my REMOS G3/600. :'(

I use from Stauff Systec from Germany a GPS navigation with the name Flymap L.
Have you any experience with these GPS regarding the HS 34!

Greetings Ritchie

Can't say we have any particular experience with those systems. If it outputs NMEA data with the sentences described in this link, it would work though.

Hello Dynon Team
first time thank you for the rapid answer.

The GPS indicate of the EFIS D100 and/or HS 34 looks as follows out:

196_view.jpg

And that is the problem.   :'(

I don´t now how can i get the GPS needle also the magenta (VOR ?) needle.

The GPS system works with the NMEA language but I cannot say which further data are available.  :-/

Have you an Idee how I can eliminate these problem.  :-?

We have after the information two cables attached to the HS 34.

From the GPS comes the Ground (GND) cable and the TX Cable into the HS 34.

The manufacturer from the GPS explained us that the cable of the Dynon HS 34 (TX) back to the GPS may be not attached
since the HS34 sends data back, whereby communication disturbed

Thank you for your help

Ritchie

PS: Please can you explain me which data behind the designation GPRMB, GPRMC, GPGGA, GPBOD or GPAPB. itself hide   ;)

We actually don't need to send anything back to the GPS in order to display everything correctly with self-contained mapping GPS units.

Do you actually have a way point programmed in those pictures? If so, it looks like we're not seeing GPGGA (altitude), or GPRMC (basic navigational data, including information about origin/destination waypoints and course deviation)

Re: Problem HS 34 and Flymap L , Stauff Systec Ger

Hello Good Morning Dynon,

no it indicates to me only the interrupted Magenta needle.
With the digital announcements I have only one value at the SPD and CRS. The TRK always stands at 360 °.
The GPS shows every time if is switched on the distance to the Waypoint and the time to the waypoint, but not in the EFIS D100.
All other things such as wind velocity, Wind direction. Crosswind are indicated. Also TAS

I am not surely but have the feeling that the necessary data for the HS 34 are missing. :-/

Givs any possibility to determine whether these data at the GPS is present ? :-/

The best way to find that out would be to ask the manufacturer of your GPS what data is outputted on the serial port.
