Hi, I ran into a brick wall and hope someone will help me out. I configured the Transponder but the yellow caution states transponder fail. At the top of the screen a red X has in the box XP.
As for the ADS-B. The power is on and the red light is blinking from the unit. I can't configure it because it isn't highlighted for me to configure. Any help will be apprecited.
Thanks

So first - both of these are serial devices. When they're connected to the serial port, wired and configured correctly, you should see both the TX and RX counters incrementing in the serial port for that device, as well as the good sentences status. So start there. Most likely you've either not configured the serial port that is actually connected to the device(s), or there is a physical wiring issue.

The counter is working for the TX and RX on both so I most have them working. Thanks for the help.

I just checked the counter on the TX and RX of my ADS-B. The TX is counting but the RX isn't counting. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get it working?
Thanks

So that means that we're not seeing the ADS-B receiver. That means one of the following:
1) The ADS-B TX / SkyView RX serial wire isn't connected
2) The ADS-B module isn't getting power (there's a light that should show some activity if it's receiving power)
3) There's something wrong with the ADS-B module (less likely in our experience, though we're happy to test yours if you want to send it in)

Thank you Dynon for the reply. There is a red light that blinks on the ADS-B receiver. I don't have the GPS hooked up yet and the airplane is under a metal building. The TX is counting but the RX isn't counting. Could not having the GPS installed cause it not to count. I did make sure the RX wire was hooked up right but I will run a check to make sure. I am just now wiring up my new home built Any more help will be appreciated.

If GPS isn't connected and configured yet, I'm not sure off the top of my head whether that would gray out your options and prevent it from sending information (that would cause SkyView's RX indication to be 0). I'll check with our engineers if this has a depenency on GPS being connected/working.

It looks like you figured out your wiring issue over in http://dynonavionics.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1375811191/3#3
