Problems with the 'Display' & 'Menu' Buttons

Suddenly, out of the blue, the left HDX1100 display has a problem. When the 'Display' button or the 'Menu' button is pressed, the screen does not display what it should do, it more or less goes blank, with the exception that the top bar still shows frequencies and squawk. When I use the other display to swap the displays around, this exports the problem to the right hand side and then that display inherits the problem. I have reloaded software but to no avail. Any ideas?

I’m pleased to report that the problem has fixed itself. I gave it a good talking to, using a few chosen words, before heading off for a bite to eat. When I came back and switched it on, it was magically fixed! Happiness!

Definitely weird - was it a one-time thing, or did it persist across power-cycles?

E-mail me at support@dynonavionics.com and I will send you a file that will quickly get it out of that state. This is an elusive bug we have been chasing for a while and seems linked to using the swap with a menu open. It is on engineering's list. Meanwhile, avoid using swap if you can.
