Looking for someone who is running the SV-EMS-221 with a Rotax 912is...I would like some screen shots of the display. Is it capable of the % power function yet? Does it display Lane A and Lane B. Overall experience??

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Don,
Rotax does not publish percent power charts for their engines so we can't do % power.

Not sure what you mean by "display lane A and B". This could be interpreted a lot of ways. Can you please ask again?

We do have hundreds of 912iS installs out there.

Lane A and Lane B is how Rotax refers to the two ECU's and in the Stock Flight Systems unit they are displayed on the screen and which one is active. By % power I mean the throttle position...to start the engine should be at 25% and to go into Eco mode less than 92%, so it's really a throttle position but is referred to as % power, so really not related to the power charts of the engine. Again this is displayed on the Stock unit. These are two key components of the 912is display. MGL also has a 912is engine module, the RDAC CAN, that displays both of these items, but I'd like to go with Dynon....but I feel these two things are important and I'd like to get screen shots of the 912is display with the Dynon module. Thanks

Ok, so you mean Lane A and Lane B status. We don't show those via the CAN bus, but you can run wires to your LEDs and show them on the EMS if you want. We didn't build it in because all ASTM compliant 912iS installs require external indicators for the Lane status, so displaying it on the EFIS is redundant.

On the throttle position, we don't display that today. We've had a few requests for it, so it's on our list. As a note, you only need to add throttle to the 912iS when it's below freezing out, not every start. You can see when the engine goes into ECO mode via the drop in fuel flow.

There are no screen shots of the 912iS EMS screen on a SkyView because you can configure it however you want. You can put MAP in a big dial on the top of the screen and not even show RPM if that's what you really wanted to do. Unlike something like the Stock system, we don't have fixed screen configurations, so you can set up the screen that works the best for you. When we add % throttle, you'll just be able to go and add it to the screen wherever you want.
