Radio Entry Readability

The frequency entry panels on my Dynon radios are pretty dark. The numbers do not have good contrast so I'm continuously squinting and sometimes just counting clicks to be sure I'm on the right frequency. I don't like this and am looking for ways to get better contrast or definition of the numbers. The active frequency is OK, it's the stand-by that's hard to read.

It seems I see them better without my glasses. I'm pretty sure my glasses are not polarized.

Any suggestions welcome. As I fly more and more in the system I value the ability to make accurate, timely radio frequency changes.

Hi,
If your radio is connected to a skyview, try changing the skyview contrast setting and see if the radio changes. There is a specific pin in the wiring to integrate the contrast.

The contrast on that display isn't adjustable. Can you send pics to our support team at support at dynonavionics.com so that we can see what you're seeing?

The radio panel changes a little - very little - when I change the DIM function on the D1000T display. Dynon says maybe it's as good as it's going to get (I sent them photos) and they put their engineers on it.
