Thanks for the reply. This D10 is being sold as part of the entire plane, so the new owner will have the problem. The noise issue has become much worse since installing the EDC-10 which we had not bothered about prior, but wanting the new owner to have a compass that was not wildly all over the place we fitted it, and the result was perfect.

Only problem is the noise is now unbearable accross the 120-130 MHZ range. and some frequencies around 121.2 and 124.1 124.6 etc are worse than others.

I am happy to build one here if given the info and a drawing, I do not expect you to lose money on it.

The shipping back to Washington is one option however the time there and back is going to be a month and its not nice selling a plane with a hole in the panel! Catch 22...........

I probably have most of the components here to build one or close by, and a few radio techs to help! All I need is the info.

Thanks
David

We've got one in stock. Give us a call and it's yours if you want it. You don't want to build it yourself, trust us.

Its ordered!

Thanks guys......... I know its a penny sale, but the Dynon loyalty in Oz started with a few folk like me and the word spread thru Jabiru etc, so its a good to see that I can solve the problem and get a solution for an older product.

This is the reason we went all Dynon for the new a/c.

Keep up the good work!

If you have a D10, then yes, these generate noise in some installations. This was fixed with the D10A (and all other models), but we also have a small plug that fixes it on the D10.

Please give us a call and we can talk you through the solutions.

After moving my EFIS-D10 from the lower right to upper right of my panel, I'm getting radio noise which goes away when I turn the D10 off. Could you let me know the fix you refer to above? Thank you, Reggie.

Yes, that dongle would fix it, as would an EFIS-D10A, but I don't know if we have those dongles available any longer. Give us a call at 425-402-0433 to check.
