Hi,

Has anyone tried to use the Ray Allen trim servo panel indicator in parallel with using the servo position input to the Skyview,

Many thanks in advance

The indicator is 12V and SkyView reads 5V, so this will not work without some extra resistors and other work, and will not be redundant if either SkyView or the indicator fails if you went this way.

Here is a solution to the problem if you are using the RP3 LED bargraph indicator from Ray Allen.  This circuit buffers and amplifies the RP3 potentiometer voltage so that it is independent of the SkyView.

Power is provided by the SkyView EMS 5V reference, so their is no danger of overdriving the inputs.  The design is also tolerance of ground noise.

It has not been tested, but should work fine.
