Red cube fuel flow sensor

Since installing my red cube sensor I have never managed to get a fuel flow figure displayed on the gauge.  I thought it was because I never had a fuel quantity entered.  I have now programmed the skyview with the fuel quantity in the tank, however still don't get any readings on the gauge.  I have checked all connections and everything is good.  I would be grateful if anyone can maybe provide me with information as to how I can get my gauge to display the fuel flow?  I have a single red cube installed in the line between electric fuel pump and the engine mechanical pump.  I have k factor of 68000 entered as my starting point.

Any advice would be appreciated in helping me getting this problem sorted.

Kind regards
Donald

EMS SETUP > SENSOR DEBUG DATA > C37 P14 (if you've used the default pin) should show activity when fuel is flowing if it's working electrically. It's essentially a counter, so if it's not doing anything at all, it's either the wiring to or the probe itself. The red cubes are quite reliable, for what it's worth.

I have gone over all the wiring again today, I am getting 12v on the supply feed (red wire )to the transducer. I am getting continuity in the earth feed and have checked the yellow cable to. There doesn't appear to be any problems. However I'm still not getting any readings in the sensor debug when I put the fuel pump on.

Is there any other way that I can check to see if it is a wiring problem or skyview set up problem? Or if I can confirm it's actually a faulty fuel flow transducer?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards
Donald

I have been back out at my aircraft again today, trying to trouble shoot this problem and have eventually found out what the problem is. It appears to be something to do with the wiring that comes out of the top of the transducer. If i wiggle the bundle if cable where they come out of the top of the transducer i can get it to read. If i mive it again it then stops reading, so im presuming a slack connection inside the transducer itself or a break in the wiring that comes from the transducer.

Hope this might help someone else if they are experiencing problems like i had been.

Kind regards
Donald
