Red cube - fuel flow

Hi all,
we had about 10 hrs on it before the fuel flow started to read incorrectly. ( jumps up /down ) then stopped reading out at all. now only reads zero.
Fuel is getting through ok to the carb, just no read out.
I had a look at the 3 wires, red,black,yellow. I did see that the yellow wire was not crimped well, so I fix that. Still no read out. I get 12v and a good gnd.

What is the signal on the yellow wire, square wave DC ?

I will try again today to remove the fuel line and see if something is blocking the impeller inside.

Can i blow lightly in the revers end to push any blockage out ?

Has anyone removed the top cover plate with the 4 screws ? Any pictures ?

Not a square wave DC output technically; it's actually an open collector to ground. So you won't see anything if you just look at JUST the output of the sensor. But when it's hooked up to us, you'd see 0ish (.7 actually) volts when it's closed and 5V when it's not.

They're not designed to be serviced, so can't say we'd recommend opening it up.

I have been able to get my hands on another red cube. Will put it in this weekend and report back.

Have just installed new red cube, all is working again. Will send back old one to see what the problem is.
