Would it be possible to reconfigure buttons so the info button in maps ends being the same button one uses to migrate radio information to the radio? That way one just has to push the same button twice, which I'm finding is one of the more common things done in maps.

There isn't currently a way to reconfigure the order of the menu buttons.
