Remote compass not detected

I have a "Remote compass not detected" message on my D10A,  I can remove it by decluttering the screen but wondered whether  it is possible to disable the remote compass and revert to the internal compass of the D10A.

You need to calibrate the internal compass and the message will go away and you will get your heading back.
