Will one remote compass with OAT option support two EFIS D10As?

Each EFIS needs its own EDC. You can't share them.

You can share one OAT probe if you wish to do so by wiring it to both units.

How would you connect the probe to different EFIS' when it has to be connected to the EDC?  Also, why would DSAB not work to take the one EDC input and share it with all attached units?

Thanks

Just split the yellow wire off from one unit and run it to the other unit. The blue and red wires will only be hooked to one EDC.

This will only work when both EFIS units are on and working. If the unit that drives the OAT fails, the other unit will loose the OAT as well.

We don't share EDC's because the point of having multiple EFIS systems is that they can back up one another if one fails. If we share the EDC, then a failure of one EFIS can cause the loss on the other one.
