A pilot lives in a world of perfection, or not...
I have a problem, now for several months, with the skyview 1000 classic, mounted on my Skyleader 200, with a Rotax ULS 100hp engine.
No problem when I power up and turn on the instrument panel.
Even after starting the engine and rolling in the taxiway, done engine tests, etc. , it seems that problems do not arise, excluding a wrong and leaping reading of the egt values, which I attribute to a defect of the probes that I will change.
While flying, after taking off and after one or a few minutes, the instrument starts to go crazy.
More or less frequently, from flight to flight, but the phenomenon repeats itself, however, repeatedly in the duration of any flight
Suddenly I receive from skyview a lot of alarms (audio and video) and warnings:
System crashing, attitude recovery, gps fail, ems crashing, ADAHRS crashing, message voice alarm (and no message follow), red cross on single and group instruments. They are step changes. They append for some seconds, then they restore. After seconds or minutes the problems came again... sometimes it even warns me about ADS B detection errors, which I have not even installed.
So what the heck happened?
I checked all the connectors, cleaning them with a specific product to reactivate the contacts.
Nothing has changed.
I thought it might be a problem caused by the Rotax voltage regulator.
The voltage reading, apparently, does not show any faults.
However, to eliminate any doubt, I disconnected the power supply of the skyview from the breaker dedicated to it, feeding it from a second autonomous battery and not connected to other systems.
No changes.
I checked the connection points of the plane ground.
Those of Skyview and the modules connected are all positioned in only one point, connected to the structure of the aircraft and positioned under the cockpit.
Everything seems in order, but the problem is repeated.
Any thoughts on what might have caused this, or potential troubleshooting steps would be GREATLY appreciated.
