Rocky Mountain Instruments Amp sensor

I am converting both engines in my Defiant from Rocky Mountain Instruments monitors to Dynon Skyview and would like to use the Rockay Mountain (RMI) sensors as much as possible.  So far, that is not complicated but I have a question regarding their hall effect current sensors that are installed on my alternator output cables.  RMI called for an input voltage or 12V but the Skyview EMS instructions for a similar unit (The GRT CS-01) call for an input voltage of 5V.  So which voltage should I use and can I expect this to work reasonably well with perhaps some tweaking of the parameters?
Thanks!

The characterization/calibrations are going to be pretty different. In short, it won't have drop-in compatibility. While it's possible to create a characterization, it's not trivial. Using either the CS-01 or our shunt are the two officially-supported options here.

Got it; thanks. I'm going to order a pair of shunts tonight. When I see "it's not trivial" in red, I know what that means!!!

Thanks!

Actually... "... it's not trivial" was a link to how to make your own sensor definitions.
