Hello,
My D100 shows a 1/2 ball deflection when I am on ground and the plane is leveled (tested with a bezel). When I fly and take the ball to the proper place, I have allways problems with the wing-tanks, one to be empty to early and one overflooding.
The horizon also shows a wrong roll-inclination.
Is there any possibility to correct the ball to a correct position electronicaly? I just found a pitch adjust. Or do I have to reinstall or change the system?
Best regards
Lothar

Sounds like your D100 is not mounted level with the roll axis, or there is an internal problem.
Simplest way to tell would be to remove the D100, and sit it flat on a floor or bench that you have determined is actually level, with a spirit level for example. Turn the unit on with the internal battery (from memory you press and hold the LH button) and see if you still have half a ball out.
If you don't want to remove it, then put a spirit level on the top of the instrument bezel, and level the aircraft up to that.
If it is still showing the error, I think you will have to return it to Dynon for a fix. The sensing element is mounted on a circuit card in the unit, and isn't adjustable, either physically or by firmware.

Thank you very much for your advice to test the system. But I do not understand this:
"Turn the unit on with the internal battery (from memory you press and hold the LH button)"
Does it mean, I have to start the efis by pressing the left button untill it starts?
Best regards

From what I've seen, you press and hold the button on the far right with power disconnected. You can also use this opportunity as a battery capacity test. From a full charge (about 16 volts indicated), the battery should keep the D100 on for at least two hours. If not, you need a new battery. Replacing it is the only user maintenance authorized on the D100.

Thank you all for your help. Now i know, the Dynon is OK, but the panel cutout is two degrees wrong.
