Hi Guys,

I have been flying with the Skyview system for 6months, with auto pilot working fine, I upgraded to V5.0 software about 2 weeks ago and since then, each time I go for a fly I need to rediscover the Roll Servo, Pitch seems to be fine.

Sometimes it works fine just doing a network discovery to activate the servo, but other times it requires a forced discovery, once this has been done its all fine until next time I fly, then the system seems to have forgotten about the roll servo again?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Are you saying that the "force network load" setting reliably fixes it, every time?

Next time you see this happen, go first into network status. Is the servo listed as offline, or is there only one servo listed at all?

Sometimes doing a network discovery works, if that does not find the roll servo then doing a force network load always works.

Also looking at the network status the roll servo is not listed at all, but appears after doing the network discovery or forced load.

Eddie - We may need to see that servo, ultimately. Give our support team a call at 425-402-0433 when you have a chance.

Regarding V5.0.  I finally decided to update to V5 today. Thought I did it right, but things went bad. Right screen is in a permanent loop, will not close or take any input. Right screen is opening some pages, expect Map, but nothing work as it should. Seems that all the access numbers are gone from the system also.
Any ideas?.

Thanks Support, I'll see if the servo continues to miss-behave over the next two weeks and if so will call support and see what can be organized.

Thanks SoCal.
This made all the differance.
My Map screen was showing "Out of Date" and a call to Helpline suggested to download the new Map info. I thought I had done so, but it turns out that I needed to move the plane out of the hangar to activate the GPS to make propper activation.
I think this may have been mentioned in the instructions somewhere, but reading and remembering are two differant things.
