I have a new installation of the SkyView system incl EMS-220:
Engine 912S ~500h
Oil pressure probe: original Rotax with only one (!) connection
Connected to PIN6 of the EMS-37

In a first test run – without the Dynon ROTAX engine file! - I had a normal indication of the oil pressure.
After completation and installation of the Dynon ROTAX engine file in a second engine run, the oil pressure indication is crossed out red. All other probes have correct values.

I've positiv checked:
the EMS setup: PIN6 - Rotax – Oil Pressure Probe Honywell
the wiring from the probe to the EMS-37
the ground of the probe to the engine and
the ground from the engine to the EMS-37
the resistance of the probe when engine turned off: 8 Ohm

Any idea?

In the case that the probe is failure:
Is the new Rotax probe 956413 or the Kvlico probe preferable?

From your description, it appears you do not have the Honeywell sensor. Is the sensor a silver canister with one connection on top (as you mention)?

If so, then in setup select "Rotax Oil Pressure (Mechanical)".

The Honeywell wire has two wires come out of it.

Thank you thank you thank you! That's it!
For those who might have a similar problem: my engine is built in 2002, sorry I forgot this important information.
