I would like to run my new D180 on my bench by wiring a 25 pin D-sub pin 1 Master Power and pin 3 Master ground and connecting to my bench regulated 12V dc power supply. Also, I would like to make the pins 9, 10, 22 connections to a 9 pin D-sub so I can connect a laptop and work on checklists, etc. Are there any precautions to take when doing this? Any problem with the warranty?
