I have 4 USB memory devices for the ChartData. I keep 2 in the airplane and have 2 to update/swap. During this latest round of updates, all 4 after the update, show the VFR Sectional Charts and the IFR Low Altitude Charts with an expiration date of Unknown on the device side, but with a valid expiration date on the computer side. I have restarted the update, and get the same result. The flight guide airport diagrams and the approach plates and airport diagrams sections are normal with the expiration date matching the computer. This is the first time this has happened. I have been updating these charts for about 18 months. :-/

Last month I had the same problem. SA put out a revision to the Data Manager that fixed the problem. Make sure you are running the latest Data Manager version (5.1.6.0516).

If this is the first download after upgrading to SkyView version 13 expect the download to be abnormally long.

If still having problems delete the downloaded files from the Data Manager and the thumb drive and try again.

This month the Data Manager worked well for me.
