I have two thumb drives that when inserted in my computer (with the Seattle Data Manager on), show updated to the current date 5-25-2016.

When I plug them into the Skyview and go to maps, I get Layers as an option on each screen and select SEC but the Seattle chart info does not load.

Any ideas?

Yep.  Couple days ago I had the approaches and sectionals but the low enroutes were MIA.  In the last month I think SA said they had a bad file, download your charts again.
Look at a post dated May 8.

Yes I am missing all the sectional charts that have been updated in the last month or so. They went missing after I updated to Skyview version 14.2.1
I was going to try to reload the chart files from Seattle Avionics but I am not sure how to do that, all the files are current so they will not download.

Somewhere there are instructions for deleting all the Chartdata from your computer (and the USB stick) and starting over...there should be a thread here, as well as some info on the SA site. I'll try to find it for you...

I talked to Seattle Avionics about the issue and they had the solution for me.

In my power saver mode I had set the laptop to go to sleep after a time of no use.  It was going to sleep while downloading the info and corrupting the files.

I reset my laptop so it never goes to sleep while plugged in unless I turn it off or select hibernate.

I removed the files from my laptop and thumb drives and reloaded everything and it is all good now.

Copy all of the last two lines.

I sure hope that a laptop going to sleep is not corrupting files...or if it is, that they have a fix for it. That's not a well-=behaved download program if it's doing that.

FWIW, I have not seen this sort of problem, and I know my laptop goes to sleep mid-download ofterntimes, and picks up where it left off when I open it again.

Had the same problem. The best nat ructions from Seattle avionics solved the problem. I had a corrupted file. My lo altitude map layer would not show up as an option. You must wipe everything and the jump drive, and the. Reload. Solved the problem

My issue is resolved also, after wiping and re-loading the files.
I would have expected some sort of error correction to have caught this, there is no way to tell if the files are OK without having it in the Skyview (30 miles from home and internet for me)
I did not see the issue until I was halfway into a cross-country from SE AZ to Eastern Washington and found I had no sectionals. :-/
