Hi all,
I want to know how to calculate the checksum to verify the "Dynon ADAHRS Serial Data Format".
I want to create a serial connection with my PC.

Best regards,
Jebrian.

Not sure how to answer that. It's a 1 byte sum of all of the preceding bytes, in other words, a pretty standard checksum. Whether you compute the checksum or not and compare it to the actual outputted value doesn't have any bearing on creating a PC connection. It just gives you confidence that the preceding sentence contents isn't mangled in a subdle way.

I have calculated the checksum of "Dynon SYSTEM", "Dynon EMS" and "Dynon ADAHRS". I took the data from "SkyView System Installation Guide".

Only "Dynon ADAHRS" has a correct checksum, by my results.

To confirm my results, I would like to know whether the examples of "SkyView System Installation Guide" is incorrect.

Thanks for the reply. :)

Sorry for my bad English. ::)

Okay, so the ADAHRS CRC of A7 is correct.
The EMS CRC should be 5A, not 31.
The SYSTEM CRC should be E6, not F6.
