Today I got my new SV-1000 replacement unit.
It has to be configured like before, accordingly the serail port 5 was set to SV-GPS.
BUT there are still Group errors, no RX or TX!
Also the SV-GPS was set to POS1.
No GPS indication - not even the time!
What else should be set to get the SV-GPS configured for the Skyview?
Of course, I double-checked the connection to the GPS antenna!

NO, because the SV-BAT together with 3.1 firmware caused a total loss of the system. During season I prefer to keep the BAT off until all the problems are solved.
As far as I know, you could buy and operate a Skyview without SV-BAT

ChrisBOM:

Your settings are correct.

As always in issues such as this, we suggest you verify the wiring.

SV-GPS-250 wiring:
37 Pin Connector / Wire Color / Function
Pin 11 / Gray w/Violet / SV-GPS-250 TX + Serial Port 5 RX
Pin 12 / Gray w/Orange / SV-GPS-250 RX + Serial Port 5 TX
Pin 24 / Black / SV-GPS-250 Ground
Pin 29 / Orange / SV-GPS-250 Power (8V)

These connections must be made to ALL SkyView Displays in your aircraft (unless you have multiple SV-GPS-250s dedicated to each Display).

(From SkyView System Installation Manual, Rev H, Page 8-3)

OK, nothing was changed on the wiring, due to the fact, that the old SV1000 was just replaced by the new one (DB37 & networkcable pluged out and in).

If theses settings shown on the foto are correct, BUT the GPS is not working, there might be anoter problem other than serial 1 and 2 statet to be solved with firmware 3.2.
