shortcut to airport "Info" screen?

In anticipation of installing the skyview radio, I took a cross country flight today, pretending to use Skyview to tune my radio.

I discovered that there are a lot of button pushes to go from the nearest airport info screen back to my normal flight display which is PFD 40% engine 20% map 40%. I am wondering if I am missing a shortcut. I would like to be able to pop up the info page from the map page to tune radio and to pop up again to verify runway procedures when getting close to the field after determining wind direction on my skyview.

Anyone have any hints to hop back and forth using less button pushes?

I believe a possible shortcut would be to use the "nearest" list on the radio itself to select the group of frequencies you're after vs the procedure you described. Of course the practicality of this depends on how far you are from your airport of interest and how densely packed airports are in your area.

If it follows the Garmin standard as suggested I believe the nearest airport is available all the time. I have a GPS495 connected to my iCOM A210. When I turn on my avionics at CYXE The GPS495 feeds the CYXE frequencies to the iCOM almost as soon as it has a fix. I scroll though the frequencies with the RCL and tune knob on the radio. The frequencies are identified as ATS GND TWR, etc. Press RCL to put the ferquency in the STBY channel.

Just guessing here but I bet the same thing will happen with the Dynon except you just have to select the GND/TWR/ATIS/ATC button on the radio which is quicker.

The Dynon radio has an APT button which probably functions like a nearest function.

Yep, mmarien's on the right track. There are a bunch of ways to tune frequencies QUICKLY when you have SkyView plus an SV-COM-C25:

Via the SV display:

1) Press NRST, scroll to the airport of your choice , then press APT>COM (will be one of the menu buttons). That loads the airport to the radio control panel, then you hit TWR/GND/ATIS/ATC until the freq you want is in standby, then flip/flop it to active

2) Or, you can go to an airport INFO page, then to the COMs tab, then send a single frequency to the standby location directly. This operation will also work with an SL30/40/Icom A210.

Via the Control Panel directly:

1) Pres APT. That gets you a list of nearest airports within 75 miles of you. Scroll until you see the airport you want, then click the knob, then TWR/GND/ATIS/ATC as stated above to tune.

2) Press APT twice. Then you can type in an airport with the dual-concentric frequency tuning knobs. Then TWR/GND/ATC/ATC as above.
