Here's my (unfinished) Lancair ES cockpit. (RH SV not yet fitted). Those 'tables' slide out to reveal storage space for logbooks, headsets etc. The SV's tilt downward for access to that space. All electrics & batteries are between the firewall and the panels on which SV's are mounted. They hinge downwards allowing easy access. The iPad slides out and tilts down over the Comms panel when needed. Leon.

AWESOME Panel MarcHudson! My panel will look a lot like yours with basically the same equipment and layout. As soon as I get it finished I will post pictures. Did you do the install on it? Maybe I can fly to 7F3 and get a 1st hand look at the panel.
