I have installed the Dynon shunt. Upon installation I expected to turn on the unit, map the sensor and see the draw from my battery. It only shows a red x. Not sure if I have it installed in the appropriate sequence. I have it in line between my battery and the master switch. Is this an acceptable location? Thanks

The location is fine, as long as your starter current doesn't go through it. Do you have a separate wire for the starter hooked right to the battery?

It should work. Either you have a configuration step wrong, or you have some wire broken somewhere and we are reading thousands of amps.

Put the 1 amp fuses in line and had a brand new one that was bad. Didn't expect that and assumed I had it in an unsuitable place. Thanks
