I am planning for an installation in a new single seat aircraft consisting of
HDX with Autopilot VHF and Transponder.
there is limited panel space and I would like o confirm that only the SV_COM X83 is required to be mounted on the panel as the VHF tx-mitter and the Txponder are remotely located and all autopilot and transponder functions can be controlled from the HDX screen.

I hope I have got it right.

thanks

Caveat: Dynon should confirm for you.

Having said that, this page (https://www.dynonavionics.com/vhf-com-radio-controls.php) mentions the same radio with either 25 kHz channel spacing or 8.33 kHz channel spacing options . If they’re identical other than spacing capabilities, then you can remotely control the radio via the HDX display (like the transponder and autopilot) without additional, panel interfaces.

I have the C25 and use both the knobs and on-screen controls. The knobs are really for convenience but I find the onscreen controls more powerful and just as easy to use. It really depends on preference and cockpit workload vs. convenience.
