Please,I can´t  make comunication between Garmin 296 -> Skyview. I saw another Skyview working well, with the 296  in the SERIAL PORT 4, but in my screen it´s impossible use the SERIAL PORT 4 to 296... I´m using the serial port 1 to 296 with GPS 1, and POS 1 and SERIAL PORT 5 to Dynon´s GPS,but the screen doesn´t show NAV. Note, the Baud rate é 9600 in 296, and the screen receive 296´s data!!!!

There is are a lot of things in play here. A few thoughts:

You can only assign one device to GPS1,2,3,4 slot at a time. Beyond that, you can use any serial port you like.

Are you seeing good sentences in the serial port menu where you're setting up the 296? If yes, then make sure you're using PFD>NAVSRC to select the 296 on SkyView. If you're not seeing the good sentences increment, see if you're even seeing the RX counter go up. If it's not incrementing, then SkyView is not getting any serial data from the 296, and you need to look at the physical connection and the 296's settings. Incidentally, you can use any of the NMEA Out / 9600 baud settings on the 296, and then make sure that in the "advanced NMEA setup" that you have data rate set to "normal", not fast.

If that didn't help, please give us a call at 425-402-0433 when you have a moment for further help.

Not in the setup menu. When you back out all the way to the main menu, you get PFD | ENGINE | MAP along the bottom of the display. Press PFD. Now you're in the PFD menu. From here, pressing NAVSRC repeatedly will cycle the HSI through the available sources.

It's in there, under both the PFD operation section, and then again in the HSI > HSI Source section. Note that the HSI section has been improved for 3.2, which is Rev I of the manual, which is available as of a few days ago.
