SkyView 11.0 - Error : Map fonctions unavailable

I have updated skyview 11.0 Software and installed the Europe Base Map Database. I have also updated the terrain database.

Now, I have this error message on the map "Databases loading, Map functions unavailable" 

Can you tell me, what is the problem ?

In the three times I booted up the display, I also got this message but it always goes away after a few seconds. Appears the databases are current and working.

That is the secret to the fast boot. The databases are loaded after the screen boots so the MAPS functions are not available during boot. If you watch, the database items appear as the system loads them.

I believe it's mentioned in the release notes that this is expected and a result of the new faster startup. The map databases were previously loaded while the boot screen was still displayed, but now the PFD/EMS/Map screens are available quicker, but the map database is still loading.

mmarien and bobl have it: We now load the databases after the system boots, instead of during the initial boot process. This lets us get the PFD and engine up quicker (say, for oil pressure during engine start), but the tradeoff is that you'll need to wait a few seconds for the map functions to become available.
