Dynon Avionics is excited to announce that SkyView software 12.2 software is now available for download. SkyView 12.2 features support for the new SV-MAG-236 magnetometer (available to order now), an update to its transponder software to support 2020 ADS-B rule compliance, and improvements to SkyView’s ADS-B weather and TFR display capabilities.

I tried to download the new sensor file dated 4/28/15 separately because I need to modify it but the link gives me a sensor file dated 1/15/2015. Is this the new one? If not then where can I get the new one.

That was a type-o. The actual file hasn't been updated since our last release in Jan (12.0). The date is now fixed.

I can't find any system software on the "Dynon SkyView System Software" page greater than 12.0.

Announcement in advance of website change OR the system software is not updated?

Thanks

I noticed one of the "improved" features was "Fuel computer no longer compares fuel computer totals to measured fuel in aircraft that do not have in-tank fuel level sensors."

Where was this comparison? I have level sensors but I am trying to determine what and where this comparison is?

It's on the fuel add page for the fuel computer. It shows you hos much we think is in the tank via the sensors and there's a "Match" button to copy that value to the fuel computer.

Reidvator in his reply has sent me to the same page that I noted in my post but I still don't see version 12.2. I do see a lot of version 12.0 dated 1/21/2105.

I think I read that entire page several times. Should there be new system software posted?

What am I missing?

Thanks

That direct link did the trick but gosh, shouldn't that cache take care of itself? I feel like I have more important things to pay attention to.

Thanks for the fix.

Just installed 12.2. Did the "ADSB compliant" page and got a "no" with the message to change the GTN-650 serial output from "ADSB" to "ADSB+". Did so and now it says I'm compliant.
It does not get much easier than that - thanks.

I have just loaded 12.2 but made no alterations to the system. At start up the nav screen showed a red cross but eventually loaded the nav map.
During the trip the nav map dropped out on a few occasions to be replaced by a red cross but only for a second or so.
Is this a bug, how do I fix it?

A red X on the map means no data is being received from the GPS. Not just that it doesn't have a lock, but zero data is getting to the screen. This is usually a broken wire.

You may have a loose wire that is just a coincidence it happened at the same time as the software update. We haven't had other reports of this.

What software version were you on before?

Can the fuel match on power up be disabled? I have an RV6 and I get this every time I start up. The fuel sensors read different values in level flight vs tail down. I looked through the installation and pilot's manual but maybe I missed it.

The previous version, I keep it up to date.
