Woo Hoo! if all the Rotax912 iS fault codes are available on Skyview, this will save me having to buy an ECU readout dongle which costs big$$$!!!

As we understand it, it won't replace the dongle for 100 hour inspections, per Rotax's guidance and ECU log download requirements (which SkyView can't access). But it certainly will help troubleshooting go easier!

Could you provide me a more detailed explanation of how the Yaw  Damper function works.  Is this just software in the Skyview display?

We'll have documentation on it shortly. But basically, it's new in 15.1 (or later) software plus a third servo hooked up to the rudder. We'll have the tiller arm available to aid connection to aircraft like RVs, and Vans themselves will be producing installation kits for the RV-10 and RV-14. Operationally, it'll come on whenever the AP is connected, and go off when disconnected, but you can also manually turn it on if you just want to have the yaw damper while you hand fly. There are menu items in the usual places.
