What do you mean by ''Second you will “Program” that file to the DYNON USB memory stick.  This “Program” step needs to be done to the Root Directory of the DYNON memory stick so that it includes the hidden license files associated.''

Can you tell us how we're supposed to do that?? :-?

Your work on our behalf is greatly appreciated

Thank you

Re: Skyview 3.0 & Jeppesen data for Canada as exam

Calvin/Dynon,
I understand the data for <3900' Canada runways is missing. However, are the runways/airports themselves still displayed graphically on Skyview? I'm headed north this summer.

Not sure if you're talking about Jepp or Dynon-provided (FAA) Data, and I'm not sure where either's cutoff is in terms of runway length, or if they even have any, off the top of my head. Basically, we provide everything that the FAA does in its digitally-available databases for the US, which includes about 100ish miles into Canada. It may not have all airports.

Jeppesen has coverage in Canada, but just like our European customers are discovering, there may not be great coverage of priavate and smaller airports. We're working on improving worldwide data coverage, though we don't have anything to announce yet.

In general though, some runway data includes lat/long/length/direction, which we need to display it on synvis. Some have just the numbers/names, which means it would show up on the airport info detail page, but not on synvis. Finally, some airport data records don't include runway information.
