Has anybody connected a Trio ProPilot to SkyView via the ARINC-429 module? If so, was their any configuration issues and what capabilities did it give you?

Galin - Not exactly sure what you mean here . I could have gone through the ARINC Conv however I went straight from my IFD to the a/pilot as the Dynon won't 'control' the a/p, you knew that anyway. I'll PM you.

I have a Trio ProPilot connected via RS232 from the Dynon panel, using NMEA0183 basic protocol. This has worked fine (except I suspect there is a bad contact somewhere, sometimes the ProPilot says "NO GPS"). This setup of course only supports horizontal navigation.

To get VNAV you need to use ARINC inputs on the ProPilot, and ARINC outputs from Dynon or the navigator. I haven't tried this as I dont have these interfaces.

That is my question, has anybody already done it this way? Not just for VNAV but to change your heading while the ProPilot is in CRS or TRK mode.
