Wanted to ask others flying behind a Skyview if the pitch sensitivity of the Attitude indicator seems to be extremely sensitive?. In turbulence, it was difficult to hold a desired pitch attitude within 5 degrees at the higher airspeeds. A little bit of turbulence seemed to cause large pitch change indications on the indicator with a subsequent VVI excursion when the actual pitch of the airplane was more or less stable. At least compared to my previous indicator. Can it be dampened in any way?

What kind of airplane, and where is the AHRS mounted in the plane?
It is mounted in an RV-8 and positioned just behind the rear baggage compartment on a shelf attached to the top longhorns. It is well within the area shown in the installation instructions for the ADAHRS. It may be I just have to get used to it's sensitivity.

So technically , the farther away you get from the CG, the more "Gs" will affect the attitude, although it shouldn't be unusable. Just a bit more movement. But just the same, if you give our tech support staff a call, they can explain how to send us a debug datalog so that you can show us what you're seeing. Note that the datalog only stores an hour or so of system data, so you'll want to pull it directly after a flight when you've experienced what you've discussed here.
