Their site doesn't have a manual, so not sure. But if memory serves, it's not compatible. It would need to mimic an SL30 to be able to send NAV radio information to any of our products. I think it uses a proprietary format, but we could be wrong.
I just got of the phone with Debbie from VAL Avionics and she confirms the radios are going to transmit via the SL30 format for both the Comm2000 and the Nav2000.
VAL is targeting the end of this year (2012) to release the Nav2000.
Looks like we have a much less expensive alternative to the Garmin SL30....
