Skyview dimming output

The SV Rev P install manual says external dim output (26) is currently not supported. The SV Intercom install manual says to connect it's dimming input to one screen's pin 26.
Which is correct? Does dimming work?
If so, is there a spec on the PWM output frequency?
(It would be useful elsewhere on my panel).

On a related note, does the COM C25 panel dim under D1000 control? I don't see any corresponding dim signals for it.

"Not supported" is different from "not doing anything" ;)

The output on pin 26 is active and will dim your intercom LED.

The output is at about 120Hz, and is a PWM directly proportional to the screen brightness, so it goes over about a 5000:1 ratio.

It is an open collector to ground and is active when the screen should be "on". It can sink a max of 120mA.

So, that's what it does. It's still not supported, so hook things to it at your own risk. Also, that 120Hz is likely to change soon to about 300Hz.

The COM C25 is a full SkyView Network device and dims via the signals on that network.

Thanks, I can work with that.
I'm adding some EL backlit labeling with a PWM-to-voltage convertor.
