Skyview display polarization

I fly with polarized glasses. Many displays are slant 45 degrees which causes a problem when the head is tilted.

Can anyone tell me the polarization of the 7 inch display or their experience with polarized glasses?

I've tried polarized glasses about one time, years ago, and quickly figured out they're not designed for cockpits. I couldn't ever see any consistent polarization between different manufacturers, so *something* was always hard to see, not to mention the weird patterns you can get with plastic canopies and windscreens.

Ditch the polarized shades and get something else...instrument visibility is no place to muck around.

Additionally, the FAA notes (I think in the AIM) that you WANT to be able to see glare on other airplanes, which polarized glasses are designed to mask.

I got the answer from a call to technical support and polarized glasses are a problem(thanks).
I am familiar with all the arguments against and for polarized sunglasses. No point in getting into that discussion here.

Where polarized glasses come in handy is checking for rocks below the water surface - marine or air maneuvers.

Isn't it mandatory that you wear pilot Ray-bans while flying? You can get them unpolarized. Too bad you can't still get them for $25-30 at every drug and convenience store.
