What are the limitation on utilizing the USB WIFI
Such as.

Am I still able to use Seattle Avionics Charts?
If I am utilizing a 3rd party GPS like Garmin will it still work programing the flight plans back and forth or will the flight plan have to be changed in the Garmin unit.
If it is changed in the Garmin Unit and that flight plan goes to the GTN flight plan displayed on the SkyView, Can that be sent to Foreflight on the IPAD

I know you can not have a software update in the D1000 and work the Seattle charts. I know just because a couple of times I was wondering why I could not get the charts.... My update was still plugged into the back of the Skyview. I have the Seattle Chart USB drives on the cables USB ports.

Yes, you are able to use Seattle charts. I do that now.

Not sure about your GTN questions, I only wish I had one.

I load the updates, Seattle Avionics and skyview updates on the same stick. This way it's all there. I use two sticks one in the plane and one home. When I get the updates I take them out to the plane and swap sticks. This way there is always a stick in the plane and one home.

After installing the Wi-Fi adapter, yes, you can still use Seattle Avionics charts.

The existing functionality of flight plans between SkyView and GPS navigators has not changed after installing the Wi-Fi adapter:
* SkyView AP can follow a flight plan from the GPS navigator
* SkyView can display the flight plan from the GPS navigator (view it, "echo" it, but not change it in SkyView)
See "Displaying Flight Plans from External Navigation Devices on the Map", Page 7-47 in the SkyView Pilot's User Guide, Rev T.

Note that with a GPS navigator, you cannot "... programming the flight plans back and forth" with SkyView. You can VIEW the GPS navigator flight plan in SkyView, but any changes to the flight plan in the GPS navigator must be done ON the GPS navigator.

The functionality with ForeFlight Pro (using Wi-Fi) is:
* ForeFlight Pro can import a flight plan from SkyView's flight plan
* ForeFlight Pro can export a flight plan into SkyView's flight plan

You're correct - you can only have one USB flash drive plugged in at one time. If you plug in a second USB flash drive, the second one is ignored. That "only one" limitation is for USB flash drives - you CAN have the USB flash drive for Seattle Avionics charts AND the USB Wi-Fi adapter plugged in at the same time. My bench system has a USB flash drive, the Wi-Fi adapter, and the (USB) Video Adapter - 3 USB devices all working fine. You just cannot have more than one USB Flash Drive plugged in at the same time.

I have run a USB port out to the panel for each display, so I can simply put a stick in when I need to, without accessing the rear of the display. It is the only one I use for USB sticks.
