The Icom does not send out frequencies, so you can never display them. This is a function they never implemented. You can send frequencies to it however.

From the SkyView System Installation Guide, Revision V, Page 4-20:

Icom IC-A210 COM Radio
The IC-A210 does not transmit status or frequencies via serial port, so IC-A210 information cannot be displayed on the top bar of the SkyView display(s). SkyView can send COM radio frequencies to the IC-A210 (TUNE COM).

Has anybody out there connected the Icom 210 to SV for active feqs display and if so what are the pin connections? Have been working on this for some time with no success.

To display frequencies FROM the COM radio ON the SkyView display requires:
COM radio serial TX connected to SkyView serial RX
This is the part that IS working.

To push frequencies from SkyView TO the COM radio requires:
SkyView serial TX connected to COM radio serial RX
This is the part that's NOT working.

Thank's I did that and it's working ;)
In fact no completly
I see on the skyview on the top bar the frequencies: active and stand ,by but when I try to transfer the frequencie from the info page from an airfield with the Tune Com button nothing append  ::)
what I make wrong ?
I don't understand :does it mean  I need 2 serials TX and RX ? for both fonctions
Or the fonction sending the frequency from Skiview to Trig does not exist or something is wrong with the connection Skyview TX and radio RX...

Something is wrong with transmitting the standby frequency data FROM the SkyView to the COM radio.
It could be:
* Wiring (most likely)
* Configuration (on the COM radio - serial port speed, etc. - also likely)
* Configuration (on the SkyView - serial port speed, etc. - also likely)
* Something wrong with the Serial RX on the COM radio (unlikely)
* Something wrong with the Serial TX on the SkyView (unlikely)

Thank's Dynon for the reply
I join the screenshoot with the last configuration showing the freqencies onthe top bar of skyview.
At this time I see some RX and TX,the speed 9600bd  and good sentences are growing up...
may be with this elements any idea  ;)
Have a good day

As a test, please change your serial port setup for the Trig to TRIG TY9X 25KHz ONLY. Then see if it works to send data from SkyView to the Trig radio. Let us know the results of this test.

Well done, if I select the TRIG 25khz only all the fonction are working.
I don.t test if I can transfer a 8.33 frequencie to the radio from the skyview.
Many thanks for your help :)

Obviously, this should work for both options, and we've filed a bug report for this issue.

If you'd be willing to do a bit of testing, we'd appreciate it.

With the SkyView serial port set to TRIG TY9X 8.33/25KHz and

Trig radio set to 25 kHz channels, does pushing a frequency from SkyView to the radio work?

Hello,

i´ve asked 6 month ago the same question. Did you plan to integrate also the Dittel KRT 2 in the Skyview?? It is a full digital radio and the company told me, that dynon has all necessary infos for that.

Thx

We don't have firm plans at this time, but I'll make sure that it's on our feature request list.
