Skyview / Garmin GTN-650 sharing GPS-2020 Antenna

Just had a quick question if the Skyview and a Garmin GTN 650 could share the GPS-2020 antenna.

NO, The GPS-2020 is much more than just an antenna, it is the complete GPS receiver and the interface is just a power and serial rs-232 data interface, The GTN 650 has just an antenna in their puck.

Correct. It has its own receiver/antenna requirements. This is actually a good thing from a systems perspective, since it gives you GPS position source redundancy.
