THANKS for now having the SKYVIEW GPS show as a label on the displays. It sure helps when trying to figure out which navigation source is being displayed.

Now we need to have whatever label is selected in the setup to display instead of a generic GPS1, GPS2, NAV1, Nav2 etc. and have the option to edit that name in the setup screen. This will go a long way towards avoiding confusion as to which NAV source is being displayed.

It's on the list, but it's harder than the SKYVIEW change due to the work needed to have people make custom labels. But it's something we all want.

How about, for now, a drop down menu where you can select from a list of the most common names like GPS1, GPS2, NAV1, NAV2, G430GPS, G430NAV, AERA, G496, N122, K165 etc. The custom label capability can come later.

Just a thought.

Yeah, 'cause it wouldn't be all of 18 minutes before someone complained that their 1948 Thiokol ST-147 Loran to ADF trans-interrogator isn't listed ;)

The work to have a variable label attached to a specific source is the work, not the fact that it is from a list vs. a custom entry.

Surely this doesn't mean you are not going to support 1948 Thiokol ST-147 Loran to ADF trans-interrogators does it? Rats! Oh the humanity!

Sorry, it's only the 1949 model that we have been able to dig up the punch cards for and build support for. It might be the same, so go ahead and try it with your '48 ST-147 and let us know!
