I’ve wired and configured my Skyview HDX to my GTN650 per instructions (I think). I get the following error messages from the GTN: “DATA SOURCE: Heading source inoperative or connection to GTN lost” and “VNAV: Unavailable: Barometric altitude lost.”
Otherwise, the connection seems to work. The units seem to be properly exchanging position data, ground speed, flight plan info, etc through the connection, I’m not sure how to fix these error messages. Any ideas?

By chance, have you downloaded and read Dynon's Third Party Connection and Configuration Guide:

Pages 6 & 7 show the proper interconnect wiring between the GTN6XX/7XX & ARINC-429 module, GTN Configuration settings and the Skyview Setup Menu settings.

Answering my own question: No config settings worked, so I went back to verify all ARINC wiring. All pins were installed in the correct D Sub sockets, but somehow, the GPS A wire, transmitting from the Skyview, receiving at GTN end, was also grounding out. I assume data from that wire was corrupted or nonexistent. Replacing it now.
