Skyview knob only works one way

Hi guys,We're installing a skyview but the right hand control knob appears to be working in a rather strange way.
Pushing up allows me to select a setting to manage (e.g. bug heading,barometer etc.) but no matter which way I rotate the knob, the selected value only moves in one direction.
E.g. rotating clockwise... selection decreases - rotate anticlockwise... selection also decreases. If I push the knob in or press right then the knob clicks and the effect of rotation is sometimes reversed (i.e. turning the knob clockwise or anticlockwise will now only increase the selected value)
I can't select increase/decrease consistently and would have expected clockwise rotation to increase and anticlockwise to decrease.
My question is this: have I missed something in the manual or is the knob broken?

I had exactly the same problem... I had to send Dynon my SV1000 to make it repaired.
When he came back, everything was back to normal... But it costed me the postal fees...
